European Hot Sauce Awards 2025

Judging Instructions

Thank you for serving as a judge for the 2025 European Hot Sauce Awards! We’ve moved to a fully online system this year to avoid the paper-related issues from last year.

Your Judging Kit

• You should have received a box containing approximately 11 hot sauces
• Each sauce is marked with a 4-digit code (this is the sauce number)
• The first letter of the code indicates the category the sauce was entered in (see category list below)

Judging Process

1. Scoring System: Rate each sauce from 1-20 points per section (1 = lowest, 20 = highest)
2. Submit Online: Use our online form: https://forms.gle/d3Qo2AyNtoFGPNiXA
3. Ingredient Information: To check ingredients for any sauce, visit: https://heatawards.eu/ingredients-search/ and enter the 4-digit code
4. Feedback: Please provide honest feedback for each sauce in the designated box (all feedback is anonymous)

Important Notes

• You may judge sauces individually or with friends, but please submit only one form per sauce
• If you make a mistake after submitting, simply complete the form again – we will use your most recent submission
• Deadline, really as soon as possible would be amazing, we would like to announce the winners around the 20th May 2025
